Most of their menu is vegetarian, and all of it is gluten- and dairy-free. But they do have seafood if tofu's not your thing (both times I had a grilled mahi that had an amazingly flavorful seasoning) . They have a regular "special" plate every day, as well veggie burgers and wraps and a bunch of really tasty sides (such as roasted cauliflower, coconut rice, quinoa, and rice-noodle pasta salad). All of the food has great flavor, and it's really healthful.
They also have a variety of fruit drinks (I had the hibiscus juice, which was quite good).
Prices are really reasonable: $11 for a small plate, $14 for a large, and the portions are very satisfying.
The guys who run it are exceedingly friendly and accommodating.
The only downside is that it's a tiny place--there are only two small tables for eating in and because the kitchen is equally diminutive, there can be a pretty long wait during typical busy times. Best is to call in your order 15 minutes ahead, then drop by and get it.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking to have something a little out of the ordinary.
